Equitable Health Organization (EHO) is a registered national non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities under 18 years of age through integrated interventions in Health, Education, and Social Welfare.

This proposal seeks strategic partnerships and financial support for EHO's ongoing Social Welfare, Protection, and Community Integration Program, a long-term initiative designed to address the social, cultural, economic, and protection challenges faced by children with disabilities and their families.

Although Rwanda has made commendable progress in promoting disability inclusion and child protection, many children with disabilities continue to experience stigma, discrimination, neglect, social exclusion, and poverty. Harmful misconceptions surrounding disability remain prevalent in some communities, resulting in violations of children's rights and reduced opportunities for education, healthcare, social participation, and personal development.

The program is expected to be covered by approximately 14,500 USD and will address these challenges through disability rights awareness, child protection interventions, community engagement, caregiver empowerment, psychosocial support, social inclusion initiatives, and economic strengthening of vulnerable families.

By investing in this program, partners and donors will contribute to sustainable social transformation, improved child protection, stronger families, inclusive communities, and enhanced quality of life for thousands of children with disabilities.
